Certification Process

  • The certification process covers all aspects of the production, verifying the ingredients, facility and actual production to ensure all ingredients, derivatives, tools and machinery have no trace of non kosher substances.
  • Kosher inspection is done by a Rabbi Supervisor, who will personally check onsite the necessary inspections.
Important factors to consider for the inspection are:
  • If there are different brands manufactured in the same factory, if the machinery have a pilot fire, how and when machines are cleaned, if bottling and labeling are done at the same production site, if the product contains meat, lactose and if the product contains any type of tree nuts or peanuts.

Operating Procedures

  • In the U.S.A., the kosher certifying agency with which we are familiar did not start until the 1920’s and 1930’s, but our development can be traced back over 200 years.
  • Global Kosher is operating in industrial, retail, distributor, and private label markets on a worldwide basis. We currently operate in the European Schengen area countries as well as the 26 countries that are part of the, South America, Canada and Israel.
  • Shop-K has a sales catalog list and is a sales and distribution department in Brazil, USA, Europe and Israel.
  • We are a Jewish religious entity which supervises and delivers kosher certifications. Therefore, our sales and remuneration method works with the value of 1 cent of the stamp per product and a percentage of sales that will be made directly by Global Kosher/Skop Kosher, and passed on to the client. This process benefits both parties as all the value that will be collected by the product seal can be deducted from the company’s income tax.
